Description

Mason, who has been active in graffiti writing since the mid- 1980s, is one of the most incisive protagonists of this artform. His work made a decisive contribution to the perception of Dortmund as a writing center with its own local style. Mason also enjoys international reputation as one of the most independent and historically significant artists in this subculture.

This book provides an overview of Mason‘s artistic work between 1986 and 2019, divided into four periods, with selected illustrations, that show the course of his stylistic development.

With essays by François Chastanet, Robert Kaltenhäuser and Moses.
